Jan Eldredge writes spooky, magical stories for kids. She lives in Florida with her husband and two cats in a house that might be haunted. When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, visiting theme parks, and exploring old cemeteries. She is the author of EVANGELINE OF THE BAYOU and NIMBUS.

Jan Eldredge writes spooky, magical stories for kids. Though she was born in Louisiana, she now lives in Florida with her wonderful husband, their grown children, and two silly cats in a house that just might be haunted. In addition to her interest in cats, magic, and assorted things that go bump in the night, she enjoys reading, visiting theme parks, and exploring old cemeteries. Halloween is her favorite holiday, but that probably goes without saying. She is the author of EVANGELINE OF THE BAYOU (HarperCollins Balzer + Bray) and NIMBUS (HarperCollins Balzer +Bray).
